Collaboration with Victor Vasquez (snakesblood on dribbble) on a poster for Phoenix Design Week this year. The theme of the show was “Design Belongs” and they had created a standards guide that featured desert critters as icons for design. We decided to blow that out with a central illustration that would be nested within a typographic treatment. I did the illustration and Victor created custom typography to surround it. One lunch discussion and three weeks later we had this. It was awesome to get to know Victor a little bit more and was blown away by his collaborative nature and design skill. Awesome talent.
